New Orthopedic Clinic to open at Wilson Medical Center
Wilson Medical Center is pleased to announce Shawn R. Morrow, D.O., will be conducting an orthopedic clinic in Neodesha on the third Monday each month from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. starting February 18, 2013. Dr. Morrow comes from the Kansas Orthopaedic Center, PA, in Wichita. He is now scheduling patients and appointments can be made by calling toll free 1-800-937-2020. Please be sure to let Dr. Morrow's office know that you want to make an appointment for the clinic in Neodesha. The clinic will be held in the WMC Medical Office Building Specialty Clinic located on the Wilson Medical Center-Reece Campus.
Dr. Morrow is a board-eligible orthopaedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle surgery as well as general orthopaedics. He treats the following areas: feet, ankles, hands, wrists, arms, elbows, shoulders, and knees.
"Wilson Medical Center is excited to bring to Southeast Kansas Dr. Morrow, an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle surgery," stated Dennis Shelby, WMC CEO.
Dr. Morrow received his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri. After completing an orthopaedic residency program at St. Mary's Hospital in Blue Springs, Missouri, he continued his post-graduate training with a one-year fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Morrow feels it is important to listen to his patients carefully and perform a thorough exam in order to make a correct diagnosis. Through open communication, a treatment plan can then be implemented with the goal of returning his patients back to working, playing, and living their lives.
Dr. Morrow serves on the staffs of Via Christi Health Systems, Wesley Medical Center, and Surgery Center of Kansas. He is also a member of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Kansas Medical Society and the Medical Society of Sedgwick County.
Away from the office, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their four young children as well as their extended families in the Wichita area, watching movies, boating, traveling, and exercising.
