What is the source of health information in CareConnect?
All the information in CareConnect comes from your WMC Electronic Health Record. This ensures that you have access to the most accurate, up-to-date information possible.
Can my family access my CareConnect?
Yes, this can be done by completing the proxy form located in Health Information Management at Wilson Medical Center.
Is my information safe?
Yes. CareConnect passwords are encrypted and URLs are rewritten so that they cannot be copied and pasted. You and authorized family members are the only ones who can access your CareConnect. Also, a time-out feature protects your information if you leave the CareConnect page open.
What if I have a question about my test results?
Contact your physician.

I received an email stating I have a new message on my portal. How do I access it?
A new message on the portal can be accessed by going to CareConnect's website and logging in with your secure User ID and Password.
How do I change my email address for my patient portal?
Click on Preferences at the bottom of the home page.
When I attempt to log into CareConnect using the link on the Wilson Medical Center website it states "error loading page" or "page not found".

Is my account number the same as my Medical Record Number?
No. Your Medical Record number is a unique number that stays the same and never changes. Account numbers will change for every visit.
I have created an account, but it states my ID and password are invalid and I am now locked out.
Please call Health Information Management at 620-325-8315 to have them reset your password.
I successfully self-enrolled, but the temporary ID and Password emailed to me will not work.

Can spouses share the same email to enroll in CareConnect?
For security, a unique email address is required for every user of the portal.
When will my lab results appear on the portal?
Any approved lab results will appear on the portal within 1 hour of completion.
Can anyone have a patient portal or is it just for people who have been admitted to the hospital?
Anyone who has had services rendered at Wilson Medical Center can be a user on the patient portal.
I am trying to enroll my daughter; should I self-enroll under my name or hers?
If the child is a minor, the parent can request access to the child's medical record by filling out a proxy form. This form can be obtained by calling Health Information Management at 620-325-8315.
Will I be able to see the results of my blood tests on the portal?
Yes. Any approved laboratory reports will appear on the portal within 1 hour of completion.
What service dates can I see?
January 1, 2013, and forward.
