WMC Get Fit! Wellness Center Assists Children for the Holidays

Get Fit Wellness Center known for physical wellness is reaching out to help the community through the "Adopt- a- Child" gift program. Derrick Payne, Wellness Coordinator, announced that Get Fit has put up an "Adopt-a-Child" Christmas Tree for the holidays. Through the help of the school's staff the tree has more than 20 families listed who remain anonymous. Infants to 8th grade students from Altoona, Fredonia and Neodesha have listed some of their wishes or needs on a paper ornament hung on the tree at Get Fit! If you would like to help make a child's holiday a little merrier please stop by Get Fit to pick up one of the "Adopt-a-Child" ornaments. The Wellness Center is open 5:30 am to 7:30 pm Monday through Friday. To ensure gifts will be delivered before Christmas, Get Fit! is requesting gifts be purchased, wrapped and returned to Get Fit! by December 15, 2006.
