Wilson Medical Center Nurses Strengthen Trauma Skills with TNCC Certification

Wilson Medical Center nurses recently hosted a Trauma Nursing Core Course to prepare nurses with the skills and confidence to care for trauma patients.
Ten registered nurses from various departments participated in the hands-on, high-impact training provided by EagleMed. From simulated trauma assessments to real-time response drills, the course equips nurses with a standardized, systematic approach to treating trauma cases—knowledge that can mean the difference between life and death in the ER.
“At Wilson Medical Center, trauma readiness is not optional, it’s essential,” said Bailey West, ER Manager. “We’re proud to offer TNCC certification for all ER nurses and to support Med/Surg nurses who want to grow in trauma care. This training strengthens our entire team and ensures that our patients receive top-tier emergency care right here at home.”
