Douglas Paul Stacy, MBA, CMPE - Chief Executive Officer
Douglas Paul Stacy brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience to his role as Chief Executive Officer at Wilson Medical Center. As CEO, he works with the Board of Trustees to provide steady and effective leadership across hospital administration, physician practice management, operational optimization, and strategic planning. With a strong commitment to advancing patient care, fostering employee engagement, and driving organizational excellence, Doug ensures Wilson Medical Center continues to meet the evolving healthcare needs of the community.
Doug has held senior leadership roles in hospital and clinic operations, hospital technology infrastructure, and strategic development. He led the expansion of a 30,000-square-foot medical facility, implemented a new electronic health record system, and developed multiple rural health clinics to serve southeast Kansas communities. His achievements also include a Master of Business Administration from Friends University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kansas State University. He is a Board-Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) through the Medical Group Management Association and has served as President of the Kansas HIMSS Chapter.
A lifelong Kansan, Doug is passionate about strengthening the future of rural healthcare through innovation, collaboration, and community partnerships. His leadership reflects a deep commitment to patients, providers, and the long-term health of the communities he serves.
Outside of work, Doug enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. He and his wife, Shani, have two children and two grandchildren.

Lori Smith, Chief Financial Officer
Lori Smith is the Chief Financial Officer for Wilson Medical Center. As CFO, Lori leads and oversees finance strategy, planning, and financial reporting, among other duties. She works collaboratively with the CEO, board of trustees, senior leaders, and the entire Wilson Medical Center team to create a continuously improving atmosphere of safety, innovation, and financial stability while maintaining integrity and finding new ways to enhance financial performance and operations efficiency.
She has over 25 years of financial experience in the healthcare industry and has served in executive positions in various organizations. Smith earned her Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Fort Hays State University.
Lori is married and has three children and three grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Adam Gall, Chief Operations Officer
Adam Gall is the Chief Operations Officer for Wilson Medical Center. In this role, he works to advance clinical outcomes and operational efficiency for the outpatient wound care center and two rural health clinics. He collaborates closely with administration and staff to foster team engagement and develop innovative care solutions.
Adam began his healthcare journey at the age of 20 through the fire service, where he was introduced to emergency medical services. He earned his Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma State University in 2020. Adam joined Wilson Medical Center in 2020 as a contracted Wound Care Program Director and was officially hired into as Clinical Operations Director in April 2025 until assuming the current role of Chief Operations Officer in November 2025.
Adam is married to Kristina, and they are the proud parents of two children. Together, Adam and Kristina enjoy the outdoors with their family and actively volunteer with their local high school booster club.

Jordan Giefer, BSN, RN - Director of Nursing
Jordan Giefer is the Director of Nursing at Wilson Medical Center, where clinical excellence meets heart-centered care. When she first became part of the team in July 2024, she served as the Director of Case Management, Utilization Review, and Swing Bed Coordinator. After earning her Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Rehabilitation Education Services at Emporia State University in 2015, she has worked in the Intensive Care Unit, Clinical Management, and the Operating Room where she's known for being a team player, a strong patient advocate, and the go-to person for morale boosts.
When she's not at the bedside, you'll find her gardening/planting flowers, shopping for random items she doesn't need, chasing around her two kids, and enjoying the country life. Jordan is a firm believer that culture starts at the top and is committed to creating an environment where nurses feel supported, empowered, and proud of their work.

Suzy Cook, Director of Quality, Risk & Compliance
Suzy Cook serves as the Director of Risk, Quality, and Compliance at Wilson Medical Center. She began her journey with the organization in 1997, starting with just nine hours a week in the medical records department. Within two months, she moved into a full-time role and went on to gain valuable experience across nine different departments, giving her a unique, well-rounded understanding of hospital operations.
In 2013, Suzy joined the Risk, Quality, and Compliance team, where she now leads efforts to ensure patient safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement. In her role as Director, she oversees initiatives that strengthen clinical performance, reduce risk, and support a culture of accountability across the organization. Suzy works closely with staff at every level to develop processes, training, and standards that uphold the highest levels of care for patients and families.
Suzy lives in Neodesha and is the proud mother of one son.

Kevin Myers, Director of Business Services
Kevin answered his calling to healthcare as a dietary aide at the age of 16. He has gained much knowledge throughout his career serving in multiple capacities including direct patient care, pharmacy, supply chain, Revenue Cycle, Information Technology and Business Services. He began his career at Wilson Medical Center in 2016 and is currently the Administrative Director of Business Services.
Kevin is married to Sara, and they are proud parents of four children and two grandchildren. Kevin and Sara are active volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House in Joplin, Missouri, where they have been volunteering for over 20 years. Kevin is currently pursuing his master’s degree in healthcare administration.

Sheila Mitchell, Administrative Assistant to the CEO
Sheila Mitchell, Administrative Assistant to the CEO, joined the Wilson Medical Center (WMC) family in April 2018. She was hired as the Marketing/Foundation Assistant, then was appointed to her current position in August 2022. Sheila has had 36 years of assistant/administrative experience in the healthcare industry, working for three different medical practices before joining WMC. She loves the variety, continual learning, and opportunities to offer support where needed that her position brings.
Sheila belongs to the Independence Toastmasters club as well as the WMC Employee Morale Group. Over the years, she has enjoyed volunteering for a variety of local organizations including Home Sweet Home Ministries, Community Missions for Improved Housing, Hannah's House Ministries, and the Moving Forward with Momentum program.
Sheila is an Independence, Kansas, native. She is married to Chris Mitchell, who serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Home Sweet Home Ministry in Independence, as well as the Director of the Community Access Center. He is very active in the community, is a performer/songwriter, and is one of the organizers of the Independence Museum's Meadow Lark Lounge Songwriters Round. Sheila and Chris have four adult sons: Ryan, Chance, Collin, and Brantley. Sheila enjoys spending time with her loved ones (including her two chihuahuas, Boo and Bootsie), going to the lake in the summer, dancing, watching movies, going to concerts, gardening, photography, and reading.

Jordan Hearn, Director of Human Resources
Jordan leads HR with a focus on people, clarity, and execution. With experience across higher education, banking, and renewable energy, she’s known for bringing structure to fast-moving environments and keeping people at the center of every process.
Her background includes recruiting, employee relations, policy development, and culture-building efforts that actually stick. She leads with energy and empathy—balancing direct communication with a genuine interest in helping people grow and succeed.
Outside of work, Jordan stays grounded by spending time with her family—her number one priority! She also enjoys fashion and shopping, and sees personal style as an extension of confidence and creativity!

Erica Johnson, Director of Marketing
Erica Johnson is a “marketing guru” who is passionate and committed to helping Kansans live healthy, happy lives. Erica began working at Wilson Medical Center in 2015 as a part-time fitness instructor. She soon added the role of Manager of Community Health and Wellness, where she developed strategies to improve the health and well-being of Wilson County residents, while also promoting the critical access hospital. Erica now serves as the Director of Marketing for Wilson Medical Center. She executes marketing campaigns driven by data collection, enriched collaborations, and effective storytelling. Erica has a deep understanding of the healthcare needs of the county’s residents and brings that experience to many other organizations, civic groups, and coalitions that she is involved with. She also currently serves as the chairwoman of the Neodesha Active Transportation Advisory Board and is a member of the Tobacco Free Kansas Coalition, as well as various other civic organizations. She resides in Neodesha with her husband, Devin, and two sons, Tripp, and Krew.
