Miranda S. McKellar, MD

Biography

Dr. Miranda McKellar is a board-certified family medicine physician. She is originally from Sycamore, Kansas. Dr. McKellar attended the University of Kansas, where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in biology with an emphasis in genetics. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Salina campus. She subsequently stayed in Salina at the Smoky Hill Family Medicine Residency program to finish her residency training. In her spare time, Dr. McKellar enjoys spending time with family, helping her husband run their funny farm including two cats named Doris and Ethel, three dogs named Minnie, Tripp, and Ella, as well as, countless chickens, 8 ducks, 3 turkeys, and 2 guinea fowl. Dr. McKellar is also an amatuer beekeeper and currently has 2 bee hives. Dr. McKellar is married to Ian McKellar, and the couple has two sons.
