In the News, Press Releases | 11/03/25

Wilson Medical Center (WMC) is proud to announce the promotion of Adam Gall, MHA, to Chief Operations Officer (COO) and a new strategic collaboration with Labette Health aimed at strengthening rural healthcare across Southeast Kansas.

Under this cooperative agreement, WMC has entered into an Executive Lease Arrangement with Labette Health to access the leadership expertise of Doug P. Stacy, MBA, CMPE, who will serve as Chief Executive Officer for Wilson Medical Center. Stacy will provide executive leadership and strategic guidance as WMC continues to grow and plan for its long-term leadership development—all while maintaining its own governance, staff, and identity.

“Wilson Medical Center remains 100% our own organization,” said Adam Gall, COO. “This collaboration strengthens our ability to deliver excellent care close to home. It’s about building a sustainable healthcare future—together—while keeping decisions, leadership, and our mission rooted right here in Neodesha.”

This collaboration is part of a forward-looking regional strategy to enhance patient care, expand access to specialty services, and improve operational efficiency across Southeast Kansas. The focus is on partnership, not merger—bringing together the strengths of two respected institutions to benefit patients and communities alike.

“This is an exciting step for our region,” said Doug Stacy, CEO. “By sharing resources and expertise, we’re ensuring greater stability, sustainability, and access to high-quality care for generations to come. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to the people of Southeast Kansas.”

The hospital’s ownership, operations, and employees remain fully under Wilson Medical Center’s control. The organization’s mission continues to center on advancing the health and wellness of patients and families across the region with compassion, innovation, and excellence.
