Wilson Medical Rehab Center Opens Annual Adopt-A-Child Program; Community Invited to Participate

In the News, Our Stories | 11/06/26

For decades, Wilson Medical Rehabilitation Center’s Adopt-A-Child program has brought the community together to make Christmas brighter for local children and families. Applications are now available for the 2026 holiday season.

PARENTS & GUARDIANS: Applications can be picked up at Wilson Medical Rehabilitation Center, 604 Main Street in Neodesha or downloaded at wilsonmedical.org. Completed applications are due Friday, November 20.

Applications may be picked up Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Families throughout surrounding communities are welcome; Neodesha residency is not required.

COMMUNITY MEMBERS: Beginning the week of November 23, the WMRC Angel Tree will be ready for community members to select gift tags and fulfill a child's Christmas wishes. Tags include the child's age, clothing and shoe sizes, gift wishes and essential needs.

Residents, businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate by selecting a gift tag, sharing the program with friends and family, or making a monetary donation via the WMC Foundation to support the project.

This longstanding tradition is made possible through the generosity of our community. Together, we can remind local families that they are loved, supported and never forgotten.

For applications or questions, contact Jamie Hodge, Rehabilitation Coordinator, at 620-325-2253 or jhodge@wmcrc.org.
