Sometimes, fresh air is the best medicine! We all need oxygen to live, but did you know that it can give us a boost when it comes to wound healing?

Save Time, Heal Wounds

What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

The term "hyperbaric" means high pressure. The treatment takes place in a clear, acrylic chamber. During treatment, you lay on a bed while relaxing and watching TV or a movie. The pressurized chamber allows you to breathe one hundred percent oxygen. Your blood carries the extra oxygen to the injured area.

Speak with your doctor if you have a wound that hasn't healed in four weeks.

Your doctor will assess your wound and decide if hyperbaric oxygen therapy may be right for you.

A team member will check your insurance for treatment eligibility. Treatments are typically covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most insurance plans. The Center also welcomes self-referrals.

Wilson Medical Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center, located at 2600 Ottawa Road in Neodesha, also offers negative pressure therapies, bioengineered tissues, and biosynthetics to treat chronic wounds. Contact us at our Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine Center at (620) 325-8393
